Our Hitch Skid with Recovery Point is a must for anyone struggling with ground clearance in the rear of their truck or SUV.  Our Hitch Skid helps slide across most inclines and helps from dragging your factory hitch across rocks and trees on the trail.  These work great for the Toyota Tacoma's along with most other vehicles with a 2" receiver hitch.  Our Hitch skid is one size fits most, different vehicles may require utilizing different mounting hole or trimming of plastic to fit.

We are manufacturing these from 2"x2" square tube with a 1/4" wall thickness.  We weld our recovery clevis to our 10"x10" 1/4" thick steel plate, then weld the plate to our 2"x2" square tube for optimal strength.  Each component is fully mig welded.

Our 2"x2" square tube offers 4 different mounting pin holes for a variety of applications.

Each Hitch Skid comes standard with a recovery point.  The recovery point is our clevis mount that is .875" thick and a 1" diameter bore.  This clevis mount is perfect for a standard 3/4" inch shackle.

This is our standard version.  We also offer a shorter version that allows for a spare tire with a smaller plate and 3 mounting holes.

These are formally known as the Sheridan Hitch Skid made by WarFab Armor.  We have taken over the production side of these but keep the same high quality standards that you receive from all WarFab Armor products.
