RackBoss 2.0 Is More Durable
Your Polaris General likes to throw its weight around, but keeping the beast under control wears out your steering rack. Eventually your steering becomes less responsive, and there’s nothing you can do to stop it. That’s where RackBoss 2.0 comes in. It’s built differently with our X24 Tech—a unique dual-bushing design you can’t get anywhere else. So install SuperATV’s RackBoss 2.0 Rack and Pinion on your Polaris General 1000. With it, you can run bigger tires, take on treacherous terrain, and ride with confidence everywhere you go. With 50% less wear than stock, your steering won’t get sloppy any time soon.
Minimizes Wear and Tear with Our Dual-Bushing Design
We use a dual PTFE bushing design to prevent the wear and tear that you’re used to. Thanks to our X24 Tech, which uses tough bushings at both ends of the rack, RackBoss 2.0 can power through bigger hits with larger tires without getting sloppy steering. You get like-new operation that lasts longer than any other General 1000 steering rack. Plus, the built-in grease fittings allow you to push out all the crud that can get in when you go hard in mud or water. It’s only possible with RackBoss 2.0.
Solid Steel Bar Tie Rods
Solid steel bar tie rods give you the robust strength you need to ride through rough terrain. They’re perfect for turning big tires through slop and navigating boulder fields. The 1” diameter steel rod is paired with beefy tie rod ends—3/4” outer tie rods and rebuildable inner tie rods that use 3/4” rod threads and 16 mm rack threads. All that strength lets you get wild.
Swaged Tube Tie Rods
Our steel swaged tube tie rods are lightweight but strong. Our swaged design significantly improves the strength of the 7/8” diameter tubing. They feature 16 mm inner ball and sockets along with 14 mm outer tie rod ends to make sure the weak points are as strong as possible. They’re perfect for the casual rider that’s tired of their stock performance.
